Our Team Story

My team is participating in 48 Peaks and hiking to fight Alzheimer’s and all other dementia because Alzheimer’s has affected all of us. This summer, we will be hiking one of the 48 4,000 footers in the White Mountains of New Hampshire to raise vital funding and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.  We have taken on this challenge to show others that mountains can be moved.  Together, we will outshine the darkness of Alzheimer’s and illuminate a path towards a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementias!

In 2023, the FDA granted approval for Leqembi, a disease modifying treatment for Alzheimer’s. It is also the first treatment to receive coverage by Medicare, which is monumental progress in this new era of treatment! We are proud to be doing our part as a team to continue the fight to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementias and are filled with hope for the future. Please consider hiking and fundraising with us or making a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association fund research and support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
