Dear Unit 206 Bridge friends,

For years, Unit 206, in conjunction with the ACBL, hosts an annual fundraiser during the week of the Summer Solstice to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s The Longest Day. On behalf of your Unit 206 TLD Team - thank you for your tremendous support in the past.

We raised nearly $16,000 in 2023!!!  Thank you to each of you who generously gave.  This year's goal is $12,000.  Can we beat this and exceed the 2023 total?

Many of us play bridge to keep our brains sharp and help maintain cognitive health.  More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s.  Here in Tennessee, 120,000 people are living with the disease.  1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another dementia; killing more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. In the US, Alzheimer’s and dementia deaths have increased 16% during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Now, more than ever, the Alzheimer's Association needs your help.  Your gift supporting The Longest Day helps the Alzheimer’s Association continue their mission of finding the first survivor of this devastating disease.
