My Story
As many of you know, my husband has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. It is a horrible disease where your loved one loses a bit of themselves every day and you lose them too. It is time that we get rid of this disease for the millions that are suffering with it and their families. We can only do this through increased research and treatments.
So, I have joined the fight against Alzheimer's Disease. I, along with my teammates in the All- American Alumni Band, will be bringing music to Delaware for this event. We have seen the power of music throughout our lives so we will be performing a free concert at The Summit Senior Living facility in Hockessin, DE on June 7th. Research has shown the benefits of music for individuals with Alzheimer's including improved socialization, access to memories, calming symptoms of the disease and more.
You can join us from wherever you are through your donation to this cause.
Your donation means so much, to myself and to all those affected by the disease. On behalf of more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s and over 11 million caregivers — thank you.
