My Story

"I've joined the fight to end Alzheimer’s! On June 5th, our local real estate community is participating in a one-of-a-kind event called the Real Estate Rumble. This event is designed to promote fun, team building, and camaraderie for our local real estate industry through an exciting competition of field games for ten participating brokerages to sort out who will be the all-time winner, earning the title of Rumble Champion 2024!

Attached to this event is an emotional and heartfelt mission. We want to make a significant impact on our local community by fundraising to support the good work of the Alzheimer’s Association. By supporting this mission, you are helping to keep education and programs free for those living with the diagnosis and the caregivers supporting them.

Each one of our teams is honoring a loved one who’s been affected.

Like so many, Alzheimer's has touched me and my family. My efforts in all of this are in honor of my Mother Adele Bayer who brings me joy everyday! Though her memory fades we share a special bond, and I love her with all my heart! Some days I leave after my visit in tears, some are happy tears though many are sad. CARING, KIND and GIVING, it is heartbreaking to see her change.

I also honor the memory of my Father David Bayer, who passed away May 12, 2023. He faced this disease as he did his life, with STRENGTH, COURAGE and LOVE for his family, friends and the community. A Holocaust Survivor ~ Narrowly escaping death many times, he arrived at Auschwitz in 1944. The Nazis assigned him to forced labor. After the war, he learned that his parents and siblings had been deported to the Treblinka killing center, where they were murdered. Their loss stayed with him. “The pain never goes away.” Against all odds, my Dad survived the Holocaust. He immigrated to the United States, where became a businessman, educator, and community volunteer; and built a family, his legacy. He LOVED with all his heart, GAVE with all his heart, and inspired all. I want to do the same....

Many of our family members, friends, clients, and neighbors have either lost their battle or are still struggling through it. The Alzheimer’s Association gives them a way to have a better quality of life through support groups, a 24/7/365 hotline, and spearheading promising research that may one day lead to being able to put an end to the suffering. Will you join the fight with a donation today?

Your donation means so much, to me and all those affected by the disease. On behalf of more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s and over 11 million caregivers — Thank you."
