For the 7th consecutive year, my over 30 women's soccer team, the Magic, with support from the Great Lakes Women's Soccer League will be helping to put an end to Alzheimer's and all other dementia. We will be Kicking Grass, and Ending ALZ! 

We will plan to play an Alzheimer's Awareness soccer game on Sunday, August 4th at 5pm at Founders Sports Park in Farmington Hills, MI.  There will be a tent with Alzheimer's and dementia information and resources, a place to donate, yard games, and some treats!  Along with this, there will be several ways to support our cause through your donations while honoring those you love:

• A $25 donation gets you a yard sign to be displayed at the game honoring someone who has passed from or is currently living with Alzheimer's or another dementia
• A $5 donation gets you a spot in a program for the game that can honor either a caregiver for someone with dementia (past or present) and/or a person who was diagnosed with the disease.  $5 per name included.
• Closer to the date of the game there will be a chance to win an Alzheimer's Association inspired handmade chunky yarn hand knitted blanket with a minimum $20 donation.  More information to come!
