Our Team Story
Welcome to the 'Hope Climbs!' page for The Longest Day! We are determined to help end Alzheimer’s by raising funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
The Longest Day is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. On June 21, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through a fundraising activity of their choice. Our team is joining the fight! You can help by making a donation — or even joining our team — today.
We need your help to end this relentless disease. Together, the strength of our light will outshine the darkness of Alzheimer’s.
Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Thank you for your support!
I've climbed Tumamoc for 15+ years. Before dementia, and when my mother lived in another state, she would see my sunset and city lights pictures and hear me talk about Tumamoc. She wanted to reach the top with me some day. She joined me once, and was able to get to the midway point. On June 21, I will be climbing to the top in her honor. I am grateful for all who donate and all who join me in the climb at 7pm (Tumamoc or virtually if located outside of Tucson)! Help me paint Tumamoc purple, and create memories in honor of those who no longer can. Thank you, Corissa
