Dear Friends and Family,

You know I'm passionate about the fight against Alzheimer's disease and supporting dementia caregivers. That's why on June 10th I'm teaming up with Radio One Charlotte, Ally Financial and Jamison Realty for the return of Family Dance Party CLT.  Our celebration will benefit the Alzheimer's Association's spring campaign called The Longest Day® . We'll party in memory of my mom Louise "Wheezy" Glover, aunt Carrie Linell Walker, uncles Al and David Holloway, my godfather Edward Wilson Sr. and my grandfather Fred E. Holloway. The list of loved ones who have been affected is long.

The Longest Day is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. And it's the day the Alzheimer's Association calls on everyone to fight Alzheimer's disease by raising money and awareness for care, support and research. By supporting Family Dance Party CLT we can stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer's together!

We're also recruiting sponsors and volunteers of all ages. Reach out to me ASAP so that you can get involved. Roxbury Nightclub is hosting us in Uptown Charlotte during the Taste of Charlotte Festival so there will be plenty for families to see and do on dance party day.

This June, we're standing up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s by uniting generations with the help of Jamison Realty and Ally Financial. Join our team for The Longest Day and/or meet us for dancing, fun and games at Symphony Park in Charlotte for the Family Dance Party. It'll be held from 1pm to 5pm.
