Marshall and I are thrilled to present our new race, the Route 66 UltraRun, as a fundraising event to the Alzheimer's Association. We will donate a percentage of each regisration to help End ALZ!

Route 66 UltraRun To End ALZ - for Mace

Runners will journey 140 miles through iconic Americana along historic Route 66 November 11 -13 from Seligman to Topock66 Colorado River in Arizona. We envisioned this new event when we completed our 2022 fundraising event for The Longest Day (TLD) when we walked:

6 Marathons - in 6 Days - on Route 66
as a part of Team Macy Endure

Our true inspiration is always and forever Stray Dog Mark Macy (Mace) and his wife Pam; in spirit, we will always and forever be a part of Team Macy Endure. Now it's time to expand the Team to include each and every participant in the UltraRun through our donation of a percentage of their registration fee, encourage participants to set up their own fundraising joining the Route 66 UltraRun to End ALZ Team, and ask you to make a personal donation today.

As many of you know, Mace was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's in 2018 at just 64 years old. He continues to fight with his "never quit" attitude that is an inspiration to us, and will help keep our participants moving along the Route.

We are honored to announce: 

Mace and Pam will be our honored guests at the event

We will award a Macy Spirit Award to one worthy particpant

Mace and Pam will be at the pre-race meeting in Seligman, AZ on November 10, and will stay throughout the event, traveling along Route 66 to support and encourage the runners, their crews, volunteeers, race staff, and everyone they encounter. With them out there, our participants will have the gift of the smile, spirit, and strength not only of Mace, but of their love for each other.
