Hi friends and family,

It's me again - coming back for the 4th year asking for your fundraising support to help stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer's!

Like the last two years, I'll be running a marathon - this time it's the OC Marathon on May 7th! My goal (again) along with raising funds for the Alzheimer's organization -- will be to beat my Dad's all-time Marathon PR (personal record) of 2:59:51 !! So please - help donate to support BOTH causes! :)

Thanks to everyone's generosity the last two years we've collectively raised over $5000 which is amazing!! but as many know the disease doesn't take a year off, and neither will I!

Like with the last three years, when I run, I'll be honoring my great-grandfather Ralph ("Gramps"). For those who don't know, Gramps was a Martha's Vineyard celebrity. He owned a wildly popular restaurant named Ralphs Café (known to the locals as 'the Café') which was an island staple for over half a century which hosted countless A-list celebrites and employed thousands of locals while it's doors were open.

While I wish I could say these were my memories of this incredible man - I can't.

My only memories of Gramps were of him in a home for the memory impaired, barely remembering who I was, and having trouble remembering his loved ones, his life-story, and himself.

While I couldn't fully understand the magnitude of the disease at the time, I now know how destructive it can be, and how much it disrupts the lives of not only those suffering from the disease directly, but also the family, friends, and countless others.

Please help me stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer's and make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease.
