San Diego Unit 539
is fundraising to honor:
all those facing Alzheimer's
to fight Alzheimer's
with my team
We will host our virtual Longest Day bridge games on Sunday, June 18. Extra masterpoints will be awarded, and the Unit will match one dollar from each player's card fees to donate to the cause.
Eighteen bridge professionals are participating in this year's Pro auction.
To place a bid or get more information, visit the auction website. This is a fantastic opportunity to play with several nationally recognized bridge professionals who have generously volunteered their time to help our effort.
As this is the 11th year of ACBL’s successful partnership with The Longest Day, our Unit set a goal of $11,000. Please help us exceed last year's donations. Please check our website at sandiegobridge.com or donate here at our fundraising website for more information.
Formed in 1980, the Alzheimer's Association advances research to end Alzheimer's and dementia while enhancing care for those living with the disease.
The summer solstice is the "longest day" - the day with the most light - and each year at that time, we come together with ACBL and the Alzheimer's Association to fight the darkness that is Alzheimer's Disease. We hope you will join us on this one day to honor the more than 35 million people worldwide and their caregivers who face this horrible disease every day of the year.
As The Longest Day's inaugural partner, the ACBL has raised more than $8 million for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
