is fundraising to honor:
Grandma Syble and Nana
to fight Alzheimer's
with my team
In 1990, my husband lost his Granny to Alzheimer's. In 2014, I lost my Grandma Syble to it. In 2020, we experienced my mother-in-law suffering through the final stages of this horrific disease. In 2022, another bonus family member died from dementia. We understand the terrible pain this illness causes.
An estimated 50 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer's or other dementias, including more than 5 million Americans. In the United States alone, 16 million friends and family members are providing their care. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.
You're invited to help me stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s disease throughout 2023.
Join my team, set a goal, and then share your page with friends and family as we raise awareness and funds of The Longest Day.
Quilt with me for TLD 2023 on the summer solstice, June 21st. I'll be sharing plans for my day via social media as well as fun pattern that we can do together from around the world.
Attend my fifth annual Quilt 2 End ALZ event for 2023. This year we are returning to the Red Boot Retreat in Hillsboro, Texas, for a four-day quilting retreat. Like last year, it's going to be a blast!
I would love for you to join me!
AGAIN, YOU CAN SUPPORT MY TLD CAMPAIGN IN THREE DIFFERENT WAYS:
1. Quilt to end ALZ with me at the retreat in June 2023,
2. Use then links on this page to make a donation,
