Our Team Story
This June, help me stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s. My 5 year-old and I will be running a lemonade stand on Sunday, June 12th from 12 - 2 PM to help raise money to #ENDALZ. Mia's beloved Grandpa died from Alzheimer's 3 years ago, and we will talk about him every day. This year, Mia wanted to participate in fundraising for a cure to end Alzheimer's, and what better way to involve a child than a lemonade stand on a hot summer day?
Our stand will be set up in the Aldersgate Church parking lot: 1301 Collingwood Rd, Alexandria, VA 22308.
