Our Team Story
We are getting back some sense of normalcy in 2021! For us that means hiking as part of the Alzheimer's Association's The Longest Day event to bring awareness and honor people suffering from and caring for people with Alzheimer's disease. If you know someone who has been affected by the disease, you know how devastating and debilitating it can be.
The Alzheimer's Association has been leading the fight against Alzheimer's for over 4 decades. Covid times were no different. The association worked to ensure long-term care facilities had appropriate PPE, enhanced testing, and early access to vaccines. In addition, the Alzheimer's Association continues to be the 3rd largest non-profit funder of Alzheimer's research, behind only the US and Chinese governments.
On June 12th at 9AM, we will be hiking Iron Mountain in support of this great organization. This is a moderate ~5 mile hike just east of Poway. Please join us on the hike, by clicking the "Join Our Team" button and signing up. If you don't have time for that, you can simply show up on the 12th and hike with us. Finally, please consider making a donation by clicking the "Donate" button.
As always, thank you for all of your support, we are truly making a difference!
