is fundraising to honor:
my mother Gogo
This year my mother lost her battle with Alzheimer’s after 12 years. Gogo's world was diminished to a “memory” floor in an assisted living facility where she no longer had the capability to interact with family, support cats, or fellow residents. Her acumen and mental faculties were irrevocably broken and her memories were relegated to tattered photo albums. Alzheimer’s had prematurely assigned my mother to a twilight zone of neither with us nor formally gone for way too long.
For Gogo & others impacted by this wretched disease, we are honored that once again we will return to the tennis courts under the summer solstice sky to raise funds and awareness while advancing Alzheimer's care, support & research. Please consider sharing a message of hope for those impacted by Alzheimer’s by visiting our virtual team site or making a donation.
This year the first $1800 in generous donations will be matched to help the remaining 6.5 million Alzheimer’s victims and their families.
