Fundraising Progress

My Story
Biking across the U.S. has been on my bucket list for a long, long time. I'm finally going to get the opportunity to do so starting March 12th and am so thrilled! As I've dreamed about this adventure I also decided it would be a great opportunity combine this trek with my desire to give back. Raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association is a natural choice for me as I've personally seen the disease's devastating affects. I want to do something about it.
My mom, Judy, has been suffering from Alzheimer's for well over a decade. I've watched this horrible disease rob my beautiful mother of her memory, her ability to do the things she loves and the ability to take care of herself. It's been heartbreaking for my dad as he's watched the love of his life slowly slip away. It's been heartbreaking for all of us to realize she doesn't remember who we are.
So I want to do whatever I can to provide resources to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Today, an estimated 50 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer's or other dementias, including more than 6 million Americans. In the United States alone, more than 11 million friends and family members are providing their care. We must take action now, or these staggering numbers will continue to rise.
Please help our team in our fight against Alzheimer's. I'm fortunate to have a great group of friends who have joined Team Biking To Remember. Your support by donating, joining our team and raising funds, or by simply sharing our information with your family and friends will be immensely appreciated! From the bottom of my heart - thank you for your support!
