to fight Alzheimer's
Why do I fight to end Alzheimer's on The Longest Day?
Because it affected my family and the families of those I love.
Because I want the hope of holding on to the sweet memories I've made in my life.
Because of the hundreds of heart-wrenching stories I've heard from everyday people who are facing the disease, who are caregivers, or how have lost a family member to Alzheimer's and other dementias.
Progress is being made with the FDA's approval of Aducanumab. This approval could mean more time for individuals to actively participate in daily life, have sustained independence and hold on to memories longer. The first survivor is out there, and the Alzheimer's Association is leading the way in finding that person. But we can't do it without your support!
