is fundraising to honor:
Her grandparents - Sara, Robert & Diane
My dad and I are proud to lead the 4th annual Spoke & Memories bike ride as a way for us to be together, continue the fight against Alzheimer's, and to raise funds that support research to find a cure. Our Longest Day activity is a 65 mile course through rural Indiana on June 25, 2022. The 65 miles represents the fact that every 65 seconds someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
3 of my 4 grandparents have been taken from us too early due to this crushing disease. And I'm working to do everything in my power to help find a cure so my parents, siblings, and community doesn't have to face the same fate both my grandmas and grandpa faced.
We often think of Alzheimer's as something that only impacts an older generation - but it is far from that and the simple math shows that if you've not been impacted by this disease in some way yet, it is only a matter of time. My personal goal is to raise $5,000 and our broader team is working to raise over $40,000. For reference, last year we were the #2 fundraiser in Indiana and have big goals to become #1 in the near future!
Please consider clicking the link below and supporting our cause. Also reach out if you have interest in joining us on June 25th for the ride - we welcome anyone (and any skill level) who wants to participate!
