Rosie's Peach/Lemonade Stand
Our Team Story
Rosie and her friends usually host a coffee and lemonade stand at the Kensington train station. That's not practical this year, but two years our homegrown peaches stole the show so we're going all-in on Rosie's Peach Stand!
On The Longest Day, Sunday, June 20, please swing by for some homegrown peaches, lemonade and baked goods and support Rosie as she raises funds to support all those affected by Alzheimer's disease! Or join our Facebook live harvest live stream 8am to contribute online!
A late frost resulted in fewer peaches this year, but they're larger than prior years, so we're suggesting a $5 donation for every three peaches. We're also adding lemonade and baked goods to make up for limited supplies, and are moving the sale to Kensington Cabin Park for more foot traffic. Rosie will be set up at 10000 Kensington Parkway at the corner of Everett Street from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.
The peaches are all-natural with no pesticides. That means but you'll find some harmless worms and with fewer, larger peaches, there seem to be more this year. Simply wash them and use a knife to cut around any worm holes and you'll find they're still plenty tasty!
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease they are not alone.
