Our Team Story
Every 65 seconds! Someone in your family may be among the 50 million people currently living with Alzheimer’s or one of the 16 million providing unpaid care to help them. In memory of those who have lost the battle and those still fighting, we will be hosting live music at an outdoor venue called Little Cedar Grocery in High Point, NC. Gates open at 2 pm on June 19th. First band goes on at 3. Bring your yard chair and your picnic blanket. Marsh Pit will provide barbecue. Soda and beer will be available at the grocery store. The benefit will feature bands playing outlaw country to classic rock with a diverse selection of music from the 70’, 80’ and 90’s. You will enjoy hits from artist such as Waylon Jennings, Hank 3, Tom Petty, Blondie, Styx, Heart, The Almond Brothers, Santana, Bonnie Ray and Stevie Nicks.
A $15 suggested cover charge, 50/50 raffle and tee shirt sales are some of the ways we are hoping to not only raise awareness, but also help those affected by the disease through advance care, support and research across the world. Please bring cash for all purchases.
T-shirts will also be available with the a custom Forget It design in sizes range from S to 3x and will include sponsors on the back of shirt. Send email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include sizes, name and phone number. All shirts can be picked up at the concert or from me.
