is fundraising to honor:
Her loving grandmother Dale
The inspiration for this fundraiser is my grandmother. She has Lewy body dementia. Watching her rapidly decline has been heartbreaking, which is why I feel so passionately about supporting the Alzheimer's Association. My heart does not want future generations to suffer this disease as she is. Her life was dedicated to loving her family, friends, and animals, especially Jack Russell terriers. Among many beautiful achievements in her life she established Russell Refuge, which was her main passion. She saved countless dogs from kill shelters and abusive homes giving them the opportunity to have something few dogs ever experience, their forever home.
"A new hand now extended
Renews trust lost in happenstance
And a dog along with humankind
Blessed...with another chance"
She has forgotten now, but I remember. Remember with me for Dale. I will be honoring her with an event I know she would love, a dog walk/run! This walk/run will be open to anyone with or without a dog! You are all welcome to come in person or in spirit ! This event will be held at 10am on June 5th (her birthday) of 2021 at Buckeye Woods Park in Medina County for a leashed walk. Come have a nice day in the warm sun with some dogs, there's really no better day than that. Please spread the love of community and healing through this fundraiser.
I am deeply saddened to share that my grandmother Dale passed away on March 30th 2021.
Stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer's and make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you.
