is fundraising to honor:
her mom, Phyllis Sale
y significant time in history for all of us. It's when all of our lives changed forever.
Life as I knew it changed perhaps the most drastically on March 9, 2020. It's hard to believe it's been a year since my mother, Phyllis Sale, left this earth. A day does not go by where I don't think of her or see something that reminds me of her.
Even in her absence she continues to surround me with support and guidance as I navigate the grieving and coping process this year. She continues to teach me to be strong and to work hard even in the most adverse situations because always in the end hard work pays off.
On this summer solstice, the Longest Day, I will honor my mom's memory by running a 10K on my Peloton tread on June 19,2021 riding my Peloton bike for 40 miles on June 20, 2021. I will dedicate both days to continue to represent her with strength, perseverance, and strong will. The ways she lived her life until her last day.
This is the least I can do and I hope you can support me.
