is fundraising to honor:
Bill Ellis and Lou Weisner
I want to have a voice that is heard for Alzheimer's, not lost with the death of my father.
Alzheimer’s has forever touched my life and the life of so many! On March 9, 2017, my father passed away after a long battle with ALZ. On June 20th, 2020 "Uncle" Lou Weisner joined my Dad in heaven after his brave fight. In both their memory and the memory of others, we will once again have a concert on October 3rd at Little Cedar Grocery located at 4586 High Point Road, Kernersville, NC. Gates open at 3 pm. First band will start playing at 4. Bring your yard chairs for the outdoor venue that will allow social distancing in a large grass area. Marsh Pit will provide barbecue. Soda and beer will be available at the grocery store. A suggested donation of $15 for attending, 50/50 raffle and tee shirt sales are some of the ways we are hoping to not only raise awareness, but also help those affected by the disease through advance care, support and research across the world through the efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Please bring cash for all purchases.
T-shirts will be available with custom Forget It design in sizes range from S to 3X and will include sponsors on the back of shirt. Send email to email@example.com. Please include sizes, name and phone number. All shirts can be picked up at the concert or from me.
Today, an estimated 50 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer's or dementia, including more than 5 million Americans. In the United States alone, 16 million friends and family members are providing their care. We must take action now or these numbers will continue to rise. Stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s and make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association.
