is fundraising to honor:
my father Joe Flanigan
On Saturday, June 12, I will be putting myself through 24 challenges in 24 hours - from midnight to midnight - to raise awareness and critical funds for the Alzheimer's Association in memory of my father, Joe Flanigan.
As part of the Alzheimer's Association's annual "The Longest Day" fundraising campaign, I will be embarking on my own personal longest day, taking on a challenge an hour for 24 hours. While the list of challenges is being finalized, I will be throwing caution, common sense and all pride to the wind in an effort to cure and BEAT Alzheimer's.
Want me to swim around the Huntington Beach Pier? Done.
Eat a Carolina Reaper pepper? Sure.
Run a 40-yard dash in front of an NFL scout? Why not.
Whatever it takes to end this disease in our lifetime.
My fundraising goal is $10,000. Will you consider supporting me and my effort?
Thank you! Together we can run the clock out on Alzheimer's!
