Our Team Story
Alzheimers Disease has had a direct impact on my family. On February 11, 2017 my Grandfather, William Mundy, lost his battle with the ALZ. Watching his health decline and living through the ripple affects that the disease had on my family sparked my advocacy for the disease.
During this unprecedented time in our lives we've found the power of virtual communities and platforms.
The Peloton community has been particularly instrumental in keeping individuals healthy and active while sheltering in place. Personally, I've found great joy and excitement each and every time that I ride.
For this years Longest Day Event I've decided to create a Peloton Community of my own to join in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
On June 20, 2020 I will be doing 2 Peloton rides to raise money for The Longest Day. The first ride will be a 30 min group ride and then I will circle back and do a 75 min ride of my own (you guys are more than welcome to join).
I hope that you can join us for a day of exercise, community, and collective energy in the fight towards ending Alzheimer's disease! If you can't join or don't have a Peloton please consider making a small donation to help us reach our fundraising goal.
