Dunk Alzheimer's North Shore Country Day School
Our Team Story
Dunk Alzheimer's is an all-day basketball bash held annually at North Shore Country Day School. There are 10 basketball games throughout the day, along with a raffle and silent auction. The whole North Shore community comes out to support the teams and support the cause. It is an incredibly powerful event dedicated to spreading awareness of Alzheimer's disease and raising money for the Alzheimer's Association. Jonathan Segal started the event in 2013 to honor his grandmother who was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's at age 60. Jonathan saw an opportunity for the North Shore basketball teams to wear purple and support the fight against Alzheimer's. Dunk Alzheimer's is an important tradition at North Shore with participation from all members of the community. It is a super high-energy event with lots going on! We hope that you will support our fundraiser this year by donating through this link. Let's Dunk Alzheimer's!
