is fundraising to honor:
All our Memory Care Residents
On June 21, Summit Point will be doing what we love to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. We are participating in The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. This year will be different due to the pandemic. Our resident Lillian has recruited several others to help sew beautiful and effective protective masks that we are selling. Great teamwork and lots of love at the Summit Point seamstress shop! We are also holding 50/50 raffles during dinner time.
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
