is fundraising to honor:
On June 22nd, I will be gardening in honor of my grandma, Mabel, who passed away from Alzheimer's disease. This disease took her away too soon. My bop, Pete, followed soon after she passed as they were married 62 years and didn't know life a part. I will do what she LOVED to do which is garden. *Note: I have 0 green thumbs. This will be a humbling experience.
For every $25 donated to me and my team, I will plan a flower in memory of Grandma Mabel, Bop, and Grandma Pearl. BUT WAIT, YOU GET TO PICK THE FLOWER! Don't get too excited, I'll have 3 for you to choose from. 1. Purple Petunia 2. White Lily 3. Pink Hydrangeas. (I had to google these names)
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
