is fundraising to honor:
his grandmother Birdie Taylor
Many of you know my story about my grandmother, Birdie Taylor, and her battle with Alzheimer's. I have talked of dramatic impact it has had on my family, especially my mother who took care of her for many years. There is not one bigger reason that I am in the industry I am in today. Watching the struggles back when I was a teenager, not having the awareness, the preparation or guidance of how to handle such a devastating disease was life altering for my family.
So one of the MANY reasons I work for Bankers Life, is they are the nation's largest corporate sponsor for the Alzheimer's Association. And every spring they do a nationwide campaign called The Forget Me Not Days. To raise funding and awareness to help find a cure for this horrible disease.
I am asking if you can donate and spare ANYTHING, every dollar does go a long way. Especially with the escalating numbers of cases as we are living longer today, this is going to be a worldwide problem very soon.
I am also making a promise to match DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR all donations made to this link to my drive to make a difference. So if $5,000 is raised through your efforts to help, I am going to donate $5,000 of my own money.
Lets help make a difference in an area that so drastically needs our help. I know it is a trying time for so many of us. So if anything is possible, it will not be taken for granted, believe me.
The Power of a Donation
