is fundraising to honor:
all those facing Alzheimer's
The Longest Day is the day of the year with the most light — the summer solstice. And it's the day I have committed to fight Alzheimer's disease! I’m participating in The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I am playing tennis with my friends at Providence Plantation Racket & Swim Club in our first annual charity event/social to raise money for Alzheimer's. We want to bring our community together to support all of those living with or caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's. By channeling our love of tennis into a fun, doubles tennis relay event, we hope to raise awareness and funds to eradicate this disease. Like all of you, we believe memories should last a lifetime.
Our event is Saturday, April 25th at PPRSC. Come out and cheer us on! We'll be playing tennis from 11am-3pm and from 4pm-6pm. There will be an exhibition from 3pm-4pm with our Charlotte pro-league friends and our tennis director, Alfie.
If you would like to help me stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s, your support in the form of a donation will be much appreciated..Thank you!
