is fundraising to honor:
all those facing Alzheimer's
As many of you know my mother Phyllis Sale suffered from Alzheimer's Dementia and passed away March 9 comfortably with her family. It was peaceful but very painful.
She was the smartest most eloquent person I know. She taught me how to be the person I am today. She was a teacher for many years and had a way with children. She was able to take a child who struggled to read and make it so at the end of their time with her they were not only reading on grade level but would also love it. In fact when I was very small she taught me how to read and write. I hated it at first too, but soon became an avid reader.
As a mother she taught us from when we were very small and even today to be strong and to work hard. Even in her suffering she is showing us her amazing strength and strong will.
Most of you know my passion for the Peloton and for spinning. I have decided that on the Longest Day, the summer solstice, I would cycle 100 miles in her honor. This is the least I can do and I hope you can support me.
