is fundraising to honor:
Her sister Sheila
It's that time of year when I reach out to all my contacts to make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association. I raise funds in honor of my sister Sheila, who is living with alzheimer's. Sheila turned 78 this year, and her care facility had a special celebration for her.
It seems as though every year I hear of a relative or friend who has been diagnosed with some form of dementia.
Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research toward the first survivor of alzheimer's and to provide care and support to those facing the disease today.
There are a couple ways to support me in this cause:
* Make a donation through this webpage. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
* Send me a check made out to the Alzheimer's Assoc. (1604 White Oak Way, San Carlos, CA 94070)
Unfortunately, because of these unprecedented times, I am unable to host my annual mahjongg/barbecue fund raiser. Instead I will be organizing an on-line mahjongg event on June 20th, the longest day. Please email me (email@example.com) or call me 650-868-5315 if you would like to participate.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease they are not alone.
The Power of a Donation
The dollars you raise fuel the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
