is fundraising to honor:
Dear Family & Friends,
Roni and I had the great privilege to have a Grandmother who was courageous, beautiful and intelligent. She taught us never to give up, always pursue adventure, live fearlessly and how to be ourselves in the truest sense.
Our Grandmother, Annmarie Ross, passed away as the result of a long and difficult battle with Alzheimer's. This disease deeply impacted our family and unfortunately, we are not alone.
Today, an estimated 50 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer's or other dementias, including more than 5 million Americans. In the United States alone, 16 million friends and family members are providing their care.
On March 17th, Roni and I will be running the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon. We partnered up with the Alzheimer's Association, an organization whose mission is to: "eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health."
Our combined fundraising goal is $3,700 and we ask for your support to help us reach our goal in honor of our Grandmother and the millions of others who are facing Alzheimer's disease.
