2024 Dancing Stars of Columbus

The best way to tell you about me is to share a typical day: Each weekday, I leave my Phenix City home and head to Brookstone, where I graduated from 25 years ago, to drop off my 11 year old daughter, Amelia. I head towards Uptown to TSYS, where my wife, Lesley, and I have worked for the past 22 years. In the afternoons, you used to be able to find me driving around town fixing broken phones, but work and home life have slowed that down. On the weekends, you can find me hunting, fishing, playing golf, or cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide, my alma mater.

As for the dancing and voting, I can guarantee that my performance will be awful.  I’m built like a beer fridge, not a dancer.  However, I will implore you to donate and vote for someone.  Over my time in this community, I have seen the impact of Alzheimer's disease on friends and family.  As a child, I watched as my grandmother gave comfort to her friends and family in her home even when they could no longer recognize their caregiver.  More recently, I watched my mother lose her good friend, even though she is still alive.  Anything that you can do to support Alzheimer's research, no matter how small, will make an impact.
