Fundraising Honor Roll

A well-loved real estate agent with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, Eileen Rosencrants is delighted to bring awareness to Alzheimer’s research. Her participation in this year’s Dancing Stars of Atlanta competition spotlights not only a commitment to touching her community but also a deeply personal celebration of life. With a family history entwined with the disease, her dedication to Alzheimer’s research is born out of profound empathy and a desire to make a difference. In particular, her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease gave her an intimate understanding of the devastating impact of this disease on individuals and their loved ones.Until this year, her involvement with Alzheimer’s charity has remained private and personal instead of public. However, recent personal loss has motivated her to embrace a new challenge. Her late husband Tom’s sudden passing during the Covid pandemic and the loss of her brother shortly after have reinforced Eileen’s belief in the brevity of life and the importance of making a difference while we can. For two decades prior to her professional careers, Eileen had been a leader in Atlanta’s charity community with responsibility for chairing, or as a committee member, for raising funds for organizations such as the Arthritis Foundation, Meals on Wheels, the Atlanta Ballet, Beauty Becomes You Foundation and more. An active Dunwoody/Sandy Springs resident who rises at 4:30 each morning to work out with her gym community, Eileen enjoys traveling and entertaining when she’s not working with clients or practicing her dance steps! She has found healing through movement, a rich network of friends and the support of a close-knit family, and views this competition as a way to pass those gifts along. Excited to be accompanied on this journey by Slava Visnakov of Dance Like A Star Academy, she looks forward to showcasing her love of dance. As she takes to the stage in Atlanta’s Dancing Stars competition, Eileen invites you to join her in supporting Alzheimer’s research and embracing the beauty of dance as a source of healing, connection and joy.
