If you read my page title and sang the first three words, you are in for a treat! On April 6, 2024, I will dance at the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Ball in honor of my Aunt Rose and all those impacted by Alzheimer’s. As a participant in this event, I committed to raise funds to advance Alzheimer’s research, patient and caregiver support, advocacy, and awareness of this devastating disease. Currently, more than 6.7 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050.

When presented with the opportunity to participate as a Dancing Star in the Memory Ball, I didn’t hesitate to say yes. While I questioned my own confidence in being able to step out of my comfort zone and dance live in front of over 800 people, I quickly realized the overwhelming amount of love and support around me. Going through my own health and fitness journey, I knew the time was now to do my part to raise funds and awareness for disease that has impacted my family and many families of those I know.
