Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters, I have exciting news to share. On October 3, 2020, I will be dancing in the Alzheimer’s Association’s Memory Ball at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s research, care, and support. I have joined the 2020 Memory Ball “Dancing Stars” because this cause is personal, and the need is urgent. I am honored to dance in memory of my grandfather, who passed away from this disease, and for my mother-in-law, who continues to live with Alzheimer’s, with beauty and dignity, thanks to the amazing love and care from family, friends, and dedicated caregivers. I am grateful to have the amazing dance pro, Michael Sims, as my dance partner and instructor. This will be his 5th year dancing in the Memory Ball. For him, this cause is personal, too, as his father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a year ago. Please join me in raising money and awareness for Alzheimer’s research, care, and support. Alzheimer’s is the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S. It currently affects 5.8 million Americans and their families. The impact can be emotionally and financially devastating. I would be so grateful for your support. Here is how you can help:
One dollar = One vote. Please make a donation now. Thank you for your generous support of this meaningful cause and for joining the movement. I hope to see you at the Memory Ball!
Remember: the end of Alzheimer’s Disease starts here. |
