I am Thad Haygood. I’m married to Laura Douglas Haygood of Columbus, Ga. We have two amazing daughters, Gentry and Ruthie. 

I am the Senior Pastor at St. Luke Church here in uptown Columbus. I have lived here for almost two years.

A fun fact about me is that I love all things related to Seinfeld. My friends say that it is a shame that I can't quote the Bible as well as I quote Seinfeld. LOL!

I am dancing because over my 27 years of ministry, I have seen so many beloved church members effected by this disease. We have seen active, vibrant, brilliant people simply fade away because of this dreaded disease, and it is vitally important that we find a cure. Many of the churches that I have pastored, including St. Luke, have very active Alzheimer's Outreach ministries, and I have witnessed the beauty of those ministries at work.
