Whitley Cooper is honored to be a part of this year's Dancing Stars of Columbus. Alzheimer's is a disease that has affected her family and countless others. She is putting her best foot forward to raise awareness and donations for this incredibly worthy cause.

Whitley is the proud daughter of Kenneth and Susan Cooper of Tuscaloosa, AL. Her father's service in the United States Army stationed her parents in Germany, where she was born; and next in Ft. Benning/ Columbus GA, where she was raised and still calls home. She is a member of St. Mary's Road United Methodist Church and graduated from Northside High School. She received her B.S in Communication from Kennesaw State University.

Whitley works as a Mortgage Loan Originator with Amerifund Home Loans. Her passion is helping everyone achieve the American dream of homeownership and making it attainable for all. Whitley is a member of the Association of Independent Mortgage Experts (AIME) where she serves as the chairperson for the "Black Homeownership Committee". Whitley was recently awarded the "2023 Sparking Change Award". This is an award presented to professionals in the mortgage broker community who have taken the initiative to impact change. She strives to create and promote diversity within the real estate and mortgage industry while advocating for underserved communities.

Whitley's greatest accomplishment is her 7-year-old son, Bentley she shares with her spouse, Ben. She loves being a baseball and basketball mom. Whitley enjoys traveling, playing tennis, spending time with my family and cheering on The University of Alabama football. Roll Tide!

Whitley is dancing for the more than 6 million Americans with Alzheimer's today, as well as their caregivers, loved ones, and professionals who care for them daily.
