Friends, Neighbors, and Business Associates, I'm dancing to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in this event, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care, and support. My wife Catherine, of 33 years, passed away from Alzheimer's related illness in 2021. The last few years of her life were disheartening both to me and to our family. We think of growing old happily and enjoying the last years of our lives, but Alzheimer's robs us of these joys. I'm asking all my friends, neighbors, and biz associates to participate with me in this fund raiser to help in developing medications to combat this disease. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. Your donations do count. They will play an important part in prevention and finding a cure for Alzheimer's. I'm asking you to join with me in making this year's campaign a success. We will be celebrating that success on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Savannah Convention Center. There are numerous ways to help me in reaching my goal of $25,000. A simple donation works, as well as buying an event dinner ticket for $175. Tables for 10 are $1500 and Sponsorship start at $2,500 (includes table for10). It will be a fun celebration with many other businesses and organizations there. Come and join your fellow Savannahians in watching other like-minded Dancing Stars Dance their Hearts Out for a great cause. I need Your support to do My part. Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments, and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support, and resources in communities nationwide. Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here. Sincerely yours, Ray Gaster |
