Fundraising Honor Roll

She is a Greek-American, native of Atlanta, happily married for 33 years, a graduate of the University of Georgia and a mother of 4 wonderful adult children (plus 4 dogs and 1 cat).

Fitness has always been a part of her life.  She took dance classes through college, was on TEAM REEBOK Step Team, has run numerous ½ marathons and a full marathon, triathlons and completed several century rides and loves strength training and yoga classes.

She has been active in the health and wellness arena for over 30 years as a personal trainer and a certified health coach.   She has taught many forms of group fitness and is currently a cycling instructor and an affiliate with the Juice Plus+ Company.  Her approach to fitness is proper nutrition, safety, variety and 100% effort.  Cardiovascular training must go hand in hand with muscular strength training.

She loves dancing and when asked to join Dancing Stars of Atlanta it was a great opportunity to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s and do what she loves!  Although it often begins in people over the age of 65, Diane has close friends and a family member who have been affected by early-onset Alzheimer’s.

Her passion is quite simple:  to love and serve others.  Her mission is to advocate good nutrition, physical activity, and community to “level UP” one’s quality of life to BE YOUR BEST SELF!  If we each can learn to build on our own strengths then no matter where one is, even if it appears to be a difficulty or a weakness, resiliency will rise!

Help create change!  Join in this movement:  no donation amount is too small or too large.  We all have a choice to create change and ultimately, would we not prefer to prevent rather than treat any illness?  Your contribution will help us get one step closer to changing the course of this disease.  See you on the dance floor!
