Kelli was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia but has called Savannah home for more than 20 years. She fell in love with the coastal area when she attended Georgia Southern University and cheered on the Eagles all four years she was there. She was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader her whole life, which has led to her continued love of fitness, and dance. She also loves to take on a challenge, so she was honored when presented with the opportunity with being a Dancing Star for this event.
Kelli has been in the Healthcare Industry for more than 10 years, and has a tremendous heart for seniors. She has seen the effects of Alzheimer’s and Dementia time and time again on people and their families she has dealt with. Her hospice and home health background really opened her eyes to the heartbreaking effects this disease has not only on the person, but on the family who often are also the caregivers and are losing their loved one a day at a time. Kelli will dance and raise money for her grandmother, and grandfather, both whom she lost to this disease, as well as her husband’s grandparents and three uncles that passed with this disease. It is an unfair disease that we have to end and she wants to make sure she helps raise the money to put towards the research of a cure.
Kelli is currently the Marketing and Sales Director at Savannah Square Senior Living, and has been there for the past 6 years. She feels so blessed to be surrounded by the greatest generation, and knows that God has her exactly where she needs to be. The love she feels and receives from her seniors is priceless and she loves being able to have an effect on them every single day.
When Kelli is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and has a love for the ocean. They spend most of their days, weather permitting, on their boat with family and friends. Along with her love of seniors, Kelli has a huge heart for animals, and has two dogs who she adopted through rescues, Sophie and Charlie. She believes in living life with rose colored glasses and with a full heart. She also believes that we were put on earth to be a blessing in some form to others, and her hope is to be a blessing with this particular platform now.
