I am thrilled to be part of the Dancing Stars of Columbus cast. I am a 4th Grade teacher at St. Luke School. I have a passion for teaching children. I am very grateful to teach at such an amazing Independent Christian school. I have had quite the exciting beginning to 2020.  Parker and I were fortunate enough to have a beautiful wedding celebration on December 28th. We traveled to St. Lucia for our honeymoon, came back to our four beautiful children.(Mary Harp McMillen, Vivian, Parker, and William Swift). The excitement continued upon our return, I was asked to be a STAR dancer. My immediate response was "YES!". I danced as a child. I enjoy listening to a variety of music genres, and my feet are always ready to dance the night away. Of course, I am hoping that along with my very talented partner, Joshua Edens, we help to create a night you won't regret.

As far as hobbies, I am an avid YOGI, love to run, golf, cook, and travel. I have unending energy and plan to use this energy to help raise as much money as possible to help in the fight against Alzheimers. I am not related to anyone who currently suffers from Alzheimers, but one of my dearest friends, Betsy Illges' mother suffers from Dementia. Georgeanne Lowe Hairr is a retired High School British Literature teacher. I will be dancing in honor of Georgeanne! After all, my purpose in volunteering my time is to hopefully help the beautiful minds not to continue to suffer.
