Michael McCray from Overland Park, KS was a loving husband and father afflicted with both Alzheimer's disease and Lewy Body Demenita. Prior to being affected, he was a gifted wordsmith and a poet with immense faith who had an eternal sense of curiosity, a wondered sense of reverence for the world around him and who cherished life-long-learning. Despite the difficulties of his dementia he remained strong in spirit in the last 4-5 years of his life with an ever-quick wit that provided smiles and laughter at the most indescribable moments. His faith never faltered. We loved him dearly and he will never be forgotten.
