I've always called Carmen my "other mother." I grew up between her home and mine during the 50's and 60's. So many wonderful memories: rummy nights, shopping trips, banana splits, Christmas cookies with icing, Perry Como, baked apples, Kiernan family dinners, spaghetti night, poker nights, nickel cokes from the gun shop, treating my worst sunburns, sleep overs, senator baseball, her laugh, and even her temper; these are just some of the things that will keep Carmen always in my memories. I love you Carmen!

Carmen was one great lady and I was so blessed to have had her in my early life as my second Mom. She always had such a calm way about her. Today, Carmen is in heaven with Ivy and Eddie where she is frying up a mess of fish and getting ready to play poker until the wee hours of the morning. I love Carmen and always will....until we meet again!!

Lots of childhood memories of Carmen. She was very much loved. When she moved from triangle, VA. It was a sad day. You will be missed. Hugs to you and your family Del. God bless.
