My Mama died on June 27, 2021 of heart disease and Alzheimer's. She suffered for many years with Alzheimer's. Watching her suffer, especially during times of a pandemic was heart breaking. She was in and out of hospitals and rehabilitation facilities for the last year of her life without her loved ones being able to be around her to comfort her and make sure she felt loved and safe. My Mama was the kindest most giving person I know. I miss her immensely. My friend Andy Logan and I are doing David Goggins 4x4x48 on March 4, 2022 in her honor and to help raise money for The Alzheimer's Association.
