Helping To Find A Cure for Alzheimer's Disease One Mile At A Time
Close to 40 years ago my parents left Poland for the US to find a better life for our family. Our wonderful grandma was stuck helping to raise 4 rambunctious kids for the next few years. That amazing and wonderful soul gave her all to us.
Flash forward 20 years later, while in class in my senior year of college I received the call that Grandma B had passed. During the last few years of her life she struggled with Alzheimers. It is gut wrenching to see someone you love forget themselves and the loved ones around them.
As such, Project End Alz is long overdue and it is our mission to help find a cure for this terrible disease and raise as much money for the Alzheimer's Association so we can all always remember who we are and who we love.
Our vehicle to drive donations and contributions is through the beautiful sport of running, though you do not have to be a runner or run to help out. No gift or contribution is too small.
And for anyone or any organization that would like to make a larger gift you can become an official run sponsor - a mile for every dollar donated.
