Carmen B. Garriga, 83, of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Sunrise Care Facility in Lincroft, New Jersey. Carmen was born on January 2, 1938 in San Jose, Puerto Rico, where she grew up, before moving in Brooklyn, NY in her early teens, and eventually settling back down in Holmdel in 2018. Carmen worked as a dietician for the Catholic Charities in Brooklyn for many years before her retirement.
Carmen is predeceased by her loving and caring husband Luis Garriga, and daughters, Carmen Garriga and Myra Draft. She is survived by her beloved children Diana Zirino, and her husband Jerry, of Holmdel, Luis Garriga, of Pennsylvania, Jose Garriga and his wife Melissa, of Florida, and David Garriga, of Buffalo, New York, and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
