Ray Valder Beaver Jr, 83, of Mineral, VA passed away March 27, 2021. Ray was born November 10, 1937 in Statesville, NC to Ray Valder Beaver Sr. and Willie Pauline (Shell) Beaver. Ray was raised in Hyattsville, MD and attended Northwestern High School. On July 1, 1955 Ray married Linda K. Snyder. and began their life together. In 1960 they moved to New Carrollton, MD where they lived for 39-years raising a family of five. In 2000, Ray moved to Lake Anna, VA. and retired in 2005. Ray owned and operated RESCO, Inc for 35-years and worked for Marriott Corp for 12-years. Ray coached Boys Club sports and was an avid hunter and fishermen a member of the Bass Masters Lunker League, B.A.S.S. and the NRA.

He is survived by his wife of 65-years Linda, his children Danny Ray Beaver, Kenneth Roy Beaver and his wife Paula, Mark Alan Beaver and his wife Clara, Lisa Arlene Tkach and her husband Jon, Steven T. Beaver, (5) grandsons, (1) granddaughter, (3) great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ray was first diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2010. He faced his battle with humor and the strong love and support of his family and friends but it was the love and care he received from his wife Linda that kept him going for 11-years. From Linda, his sons, daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren, we thank you for your generous donation to help fight such a terrible disease.
