Linda Abbate battled with dementia for many years.
It is all so common, it seems that anyone you speak to can share a memory of a loved one who has gone through this difficult disease.
My Mom's spirit and personality during her struggle remained with her.
During our visits she would giggle and laugh over silly memories that I wasn't sure she remembered, but she played along.
I was so happy just to be with her and let her know how special she was and how grateful my brothers and I along with our spouses were to have her as a mom. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren family and friends loved her endlessly.
I can continue on with how beautiful, kind, caring and strong Linda Abbate was...
She passed away on October 9, 2019
She will be greatly missed
