Our mother, Pauline Zwern, passed away on 11/2/11, 14 years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Although, over those 14 years, Alzheimer's gradually stole from her so much that she treasured in her life, and so much that made her a treasure to us, it could not take away the beauty of her soul. An aunt of ours once said, "Your mother is the only person I've ever known who does good for others not for credit or glory or expecting something in return, but simply because it makes her feel good to do it."
It is in that spirit that we invite you to donate to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory and in her honor.
